The Association is an initiative of the male descendants of the Butchulla Aboriginal people of the Fraser Coast region to assist in the strengthening of their Cultural, Social, Economic and Political position within their traditional lands.

Principles |
(a) |
To enable Butchulla men to overcome their cultural, social, economic and political dislocation within the community.
|
(b) |
To empower Butchulla men to be able to participate in and make decisions relating to their cultural, social, economic and political advancement, according to traditional systems.

(c) |
To allow Butchulla men to function in harmony with all service providers within the community including all levels of government , community and business.

Aims |
(a) |
To afford a safe and supportive environment for Butchulla men in all aspects of their cultural, social, economic and political development.

To facilitate social, cultural, economic and political development for Butchulla men.

(c) |
To meet the needs and develop the interests of Butchulla men.
|
(d) |
To develop meaningful communications with other Aboriginal organisations within the community.

Objectives |
(a) |
To position Butchulla men as role models and leaders among the Butchulla people and wider community, according to traditional systems.
|
(b) |
To provide guidance and support to Butchulla men in their quest to develop their social, cultural, economic and political position within the broader community.

(c) |
To develop the Butchulla Men`s Business Aboriginal Association as a leading Aboriginal organisation for the development and support of Aboriginal men within the Wide Bay region
